Depending on the weather conditions we will either sail the Northern Route (e.g. the islands Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, Lipsi) or the Southern Route (e.g. the islands Symi, Tilos, Nisiros). Flexibility, adventure, and trust in the captain are key.

Trips to Astypalea are also possible on request. If you are an experienced sailor/crew and have something special in mind, feel free to get in touch with us.

Please note that planning itineraries fixed in advance isn’t possible due to unpredictable wind speed, wind direction, and weather conditions.

Our sailing season in the Dodecanese Island is from April - October.

Summer (June through August) is the peak sailing season, marked by warm temperatures and robust Meltemi winds, making it ideal for experienced sailors seeking an exhilarating journey. It’s also the busiest tourist season.

Spring (April to early June) and autumn (September to October) offer a quieter but equally delightful sailing experience. The weather during these periods is milder and more stable, and the winds are more manageable, making it suitable for less experienced sailors. Additionally, these seasons provide an opportunity to experience the local life and nature, from the spring bloom to the autumn harvest.

No experience is needed. Whether you're an expert sailor or a beginner, join us with friends, family, or children – everyone is welcome.

Your experienced and knowledgeable Captain Nootch has all skills and know-how to handle all of the sailing. However, he will occasionally need some assistance from a guest with raising/lowering a sail and while anchoring in the ports. He will instruct you what to do.

There are multiple airlines that fly direct or one stop flights to Kos Airport. For example Edelweiss Airlines offer direct flights from Zurich to Kos.

From the airport you can take a 30-45 min. taxi to Kos main harbour. Or a 5 Euro local bus that takes 1,5h.

The flight and transfer to the harbour are not included in the price and must be booked individually.

Departure/Return
Our standard depart from Kos Marina is on a Sunday morning (around 10am or later) and return on the following Friday afternoon/late afternoon.

Boarding/Check-Out
Our trips usually include 7 nights of accommodation aboard the boat and 6 full days of sailing between islands. Saturday is a changeover day where the boats are prepared for their next trip. As a result, the boat will be ready for boarding at 5pm on Saturday. Our guests are welcome to board at that time and sleep in port that evening before departure on Sunday. Some clients prefer to stay in a hotel and board Sunday morning.
When the boat returns to the marina on Friday our guests can either disembark and stay in Kos or we offer the option to sleep on the boat in port before checkout on Saturday morning at 9am.

The mantra is LESS IS MORE.

• Luggage: We recommend using small or easily collapsible luggage. Carry-on bags or duffel bags are ideal. Large (hard) luggage may take up extra space in your cabin, especially if there are multiple bags.

• Clothing: In addition to what you’d typically pack for a vacation, we recommend our guests bring a long-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater. Even during warm months, the winds can make it feel cooler while you’re at sea. We also ask that clients take off their shoes when boarding the yacht to prevent marks and damage. There are boat/water shoes that are acceptable with white soles. Additionally, if you plan to explore some of the uninhabited islands while anchored in a cove, water shoes are nice to have. .

• Power/Charging: The yachts will have USB charging available (at all times) as well as a southern European outlet which can be used when the engine or generator is running or the boat is connected to shore power.

• Bathing suit and beach towel (you will be provided with a showering towel)

• Sun protection: Sunscreen, hat, glasses, sarong

• Personal water bottle

• Toiletries. Please make sure all your soaps are bio degradable

• A good book and your personal journal

• Passport / ID

• Travel and health insurance

Smoking on board is forbidden, but you can always find a spot on land or on the back of the boat.

Cell service is very good throughout the Greek Islands, so you’ll likely have roaming service throughout most of your journey.

There won’t be WiFi on board, only for emergencies. If you really need your fix there might be WiFi in restaurants on land.

Mother nature will decide for us about how the wind conditions will be. But should you be someone who feels sea or motion sickness, there are multiple sea sick tablets or pressure point wrist bands. Both can be found at your local chemist store.

Our Captain Nootch speaks French and English.

• All charter expenses including fuel, marina fees, taxes and end-cleaning

• Amenities such as linens, snorkel sets, motorized dinghy boat, SUP boards (on request).

• Daily breakfast and simple lunch, prepared by Captain Nootch.

• An assortment of snacks and beverages (Soda, house wine and beer).

• We’ll reach out to you prior to ask about any specific food/drink preferences or allergies.

• Note: Dinners are usually not included because we recommend dining out at one of the incredible local tavernas / restaurants on the island. The captain will be happy to recommend places. On request we are more than happy to prepare dinners on the boat.

• Tips for the captain are not included in the price and very much appreciated.
